James bond Island Phang Nga Bay is one of the most stunning areas anywhere in the world. It is home to literally hundreds of small islands with rugged limestone cliffs, most of which are uninhabited. See the island where "The Man with the Golden Gun" was filmed, explore Hong Island's limestone formations and stunning caves, Swim and relax on the beach at Naka Island *Itinerary

Phang Nga Bay is characterized by its serene, picturesque landscapes featuring limestone cliffs and caves, lush mangrove forests, and crystal-clear waters. The bay is dotted with numerous limestone karsts of varying shapes and sizes, some of which are hollowed out by erosion to form hidden lagoons and sea caves that are perfect for exploration. One of the most famous landmarks in Phang Nga Bay is James Bond Island, named after its appearance in the James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun.” This island showcases a unique karst formation with a slender rock tower jutting vertically from the sea.

Naka Island, often referred to as Koh Naka Yai, is a tropical paradise known for its pristine beaches, lush vegetation, and tranquil ambiance. This island offers a serene escape from the bustling atmosphere of Phuket, making it a popular destination for travelers seeking relaxation and natural beauty.

Panyee Island stands out for its extraordinary setting, as it is built entirely on stilts above the waters of Phang Nga Bay. This island is primarily home to the Muslim fishing community of the same name. What makes it even more fascinating is that the entire village, including houses, schools, restaurants, and a mosque, is constructed on wooden platforms, creating a picturesque and floating settlement. The story goes that a group of sea gypsies, or Chao Leh, first settled on Panyee Island over 200 years ago. Over time, their descendants expanded the village and developed a unique way of life centered around fishing and tourism. Today, Panyee Island is a popular tourist destination, drawing visitors who come to witness the remarkable stilted architecture, enjoy fresh seafood, and experience the vibrant culture of the local community.

Hong Island, The main attraction of Hong Island is the “hong,” which translates to “room” in Thai. These are hidden lagoons or enclosed chambers formed by the towering limestone cliffs that encircle the island. Visitors can access these enchanting lagoons by kayaking or swimming through narrow openings in the limestone rocks.

Panak Island is renowned for its striking limestone cliffs, mysterious caves, and serene lagoons, making it a popular destination for visitors exploring the natural wonders of Phang Nga Bay. The island is a part of the Ao Phang Nga National Park, known for its unique karst formations and pristine marine environments.
